Welcome to the Fruits Pickers Association

of British Columbia, Canada.

We have a great deal of experience in working with fruit pickers in this area.

We have expended a great deal of time and effort researching information you

will need to enjoy a successful, fun filled summer of picking fruits, Berries,

Melons, and Vegetables in British Columbia.

We offer to our Members

Employment

Employment
1.	A constantly updated list of available jobs detailing.

2.	Reliable employers where they are located and how to
	contact them. Duration of job, type of work available,
	variety of fruit to be picked, remuneration, facilities
	available on site, number of employees requested actual
	and forecasted start and finish dates at each farm.

3.	We will make available to you over the net and from our
	office in the Okanagan Valley this valuable information for
	a productive memorable and enjoyable season of picking
	fruit for a nominal membership fee of $20.

4.	You will realize saving and remuneration far greater than
	the membership fee as a result of the contacts, research,
	and the scale of organization we have to offer.

Transportation
	We offer the same good service with three modes of
	transportation to the Okanagan Valley, for our new and
	long time membership alike. Special discounted fares
	are available to our members depending upon
	departure date, location and mode of transportation.

By Train	Departure from Halifax, Federation, Quebec city, Montreal,
	Toronto, Subury, Winnipeg, Regina, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Kamloops.

By Bus	Departure from Halifax to Okanagan Valley, stopping at
	every cities and towns for our members.

By Members	We could provide you transportation with others members
	coming through your town or from your neighborhood.

Accommodation
	In our experience the Okanagan Valley, offers three
	types of accommodation preferred by our fruit picking
	members.

Free	We will upon request provide our members with a list
	and location of free camp sites currently available,
	including accommodations accepted and amenities
	available at these free sites.

Cabin	We will upon request provide our members with a list
	and location of the many orchards with cabins available
	at no charge or a nominal charge to on site fruit pickers.

Camping	We will upon request provide our members with a list
	of the many public campgrounds available in the area,
	detailing cost, facilities available, accommodations
	accepted and length of stay permitted.
